The Belau Tourism Association will host the 2nd Annual Bartender Competition this summer in Palau on June 23, 2006 at Palasia Hotel Poolside from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. Three categories open for interested individuals: Amateur "Rainbows End", Professional "Gold Jigger" and Red Rooster Cocktail. Great prizes for the winners with US$500.00 cash + gift certificates & trophy for the Professional category, US$300.00 + gift certificate & trophy for the Amateur category and US$100.00 + gift certificate for Red Rooster Cocktail category. There is a $10.00 entry fee for each categories. There will be exciting raffle prizes for participants. Admission is free including refreshments. Funding for this event is made possible by generous sponsors, contributors and association members. The Belau Tourism Association is a non-profit organization comprised of hotels, tour operators, restaurant and other related businesses and agencies. The association actively works with the national tourism unit known as Palau Visitors Authority. Come celebrate with us as we showcase an evening of bartending entertainment.
